Dan O'Brien is the former General Manager of Major League Baseball's Cincinnati Reds. O'Brien was hired on October 27, 2003, succeeding Jim Bowden in this capacity.

O'Brien was fired from this position by new Reds ownership on January 23, 2006. He now serves as a special assistant to Milwaukee Brewers' GM, Doug Melvin.
