Dan Meyer (pitcher)

Daniel Livingston Meyer (born July 3, 1981) is a left-handed pitcher currently in the Oakland Athletics Triple-A Affiliate, the Sacramento River Cats. He is 6'3 and weighs 220 pounds.

Meyer was involved in the trade that sent Tim Hudson to the Atlanta Braves. Meyer is a top pitching prospect, and could find himself in the Athletics' starting rotation by 2007.

His 2006 season could have been his year for a call up if it wasn't for a series of injuries that have left him sidelined for months.

He is currently on the 40-man roster for the Oakland Athletics.
