Dan Gordon (animator)

Dan Gordon was an American storyboard artist and film director, best known for his work at both Famous Studios and Hanna-Barbera Productions. While at Famous, Gordon wrote and directed several Popeye the Sailor and Superman cartoons. At Hanna-Barbera, Gordon worked on several cartoons featuring Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, and others.
Gordon also directed several anti-Japanese propaganda pictures during World War II that have raised controversy among the Japanese-American community for the depiction of the Japanese in a racist, sub-human manner.
Dan Gordon died in 1969.
