Daniel Allen Campbell (born April 13, 1976 in Clifton, Texas) is an American football tight end for the Detroit Lions of the NFL. He was originally selected with the 18th pick of the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M University by the New York Giants. He played for the Dallas Cowboys from 2003 to 2005. Campbell is considered one of the elite blocking tight ends in the league.
