A Shadow in the Darkness: Danger Approaches Sasuke (Japanese: 闇にうごめく影 サスケに迫る危機！ - Yami ni ugomeku kage Sasuke ni semaru kiki!) is episode 51 of the anime series Naruto. The episode's storyline is from the Chūnin Exam manga arc.
Orochimaru claims that being around Naruto (he calls him the Kyubi) is softening his heart and they need to separate them. He then tells Kabuto to kidnap Sasuke. Kabuto goes up to Sasuke's room and after killing the ANBU stationed there gets ready to kill the unconscious Genin with a scalpal. Even though Orochimaru told Kabuto not to kill Sasuke, Kabuto's intentions seemed to be just that. But Kakashi arrives and stops Kabuto. He demands to know if Kabuto is working for Orochimaru, but Kabuto won't give a clear answer. He pulls out another weapon and is about to stab Sasuke when Kakashi disables him and pins him to the floor. But he realizes something is up as one of the ANBU springs to his feet and leaps out the window. The falling person removes the ANBU mask and reveals himself as a disguised Kabuto. Kabuto used a technique that allowed him to make the actual dead body of the ANBU look likes his orignal body, and allowed him to control it as he was laying in his disguise
