Damizza

Damion Young (age 35), better known by his pen name, Damizza, is a record producer famous for his underground hip-hop work and his production work with artist like Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg and friendship with Mariah Carey. Damizza worked with Carey on creating her song "Crybaby" (2000) and is also famous for being one of the few real celebrities who own an account on MySpace.www.myspace.com/damizza1 Damizza and Carey raised eyebrows when a picture of them posing with former vice president and presidential candidate Al Gore was posted on Damizza's MySpace account. Damizza also gets credit from Snoop Dogg for reuniting him and Dr. Dre which led to the recording of the Chronic album.
Damizza is soon to be a household name with the pending release of his mixtape "Guilty by Association" in October 2006, and his upcoming full album debut, tenatively set for February 2007. The title "Guilty by Association" stems from his involvement at Radio powerhouse KPWR in Los Angeles where he held the title of VP of Artist Relations. He became good friends with tons of HipHop artists, and various entertainers. He has maintained most of those friendships even through his retirement from "Power 106". Damizza is also known as being one of the most powerful people in HipHop according to the Source Magazine. The Source named him at number 4 at one point in time. With his limitless connections, friendships and talent, there is no limit to what Damion Young, A.K.A. Damizza can accomplish.
