Damien Bodie (born 2 January 1985 in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian actor.
He is best known for his role as Dylan Timmins on the Australian television soap opera Neighbours (from 2005). However, he is due to leave in the near future. Damien played the role of Oscar in the TV series "Short Cuts" which won three awards in 2002. He also starred in the 2005 Australian film Hating Alison Ashley and the 2002 Canadian/Australian TV series Guinevere Jones playing the character of Josh.
As a child star he appeared in several films including The Saddle Club, Ocean Girl, and Crash Zone. He has appeared twice before in Neighbours as secondary characters, first as Charlie Moyes in 1996, and three years later as Liam Rigby.
According to Bodie, the character of Dylan, a boy more accustomed to using his fists to deal with a situation than his brain, but now trying to build a career as an entrepreneur, is far removed from his own persona. He has said in a BBC interview: "Dylan is good at finding trouble and he's good at starting fights. I am probably the complete opposite of that! I don't like causing a scene, I don't want people to get upset with me and I've never been in a fight before! ... I certainly don't dress like Dylan at all, and I don't think I'd ever worn a singlet top before I played Dylan. He always wants to show off his muscles, he wears a lot of jewelery, all these sort of things. He has an earring and I don't. Everything I wear on the show is completely Dylan, and I'm certainly not like that at all. I don't like to stand out as much as Dylan does."
He is a keen Australian rules football fan, and supports Collingwood Football Club.
