Damascus oasis

Damascus Oasis (Arabic: غوطة دمشق‎, transliteration: Ghootatu_Dimashq) (aka. Ghuta), is a collection of farms in Rif_Dimashq close to the eastern part of Damascus.

Many crops are grown in these farms and are exported mainly to Damascus.

This Oasis has been a very popular resort for the city dwellers particularly in spring.
