Damai LRT Station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Damai LRT station (PE7) is a LRT station on the Punggol LRT Line East Loop in Singapore. It is currently not open for service due to little development around the area. It is operated by SBS Transit. It should not be confused with a station on Kuala Lumpur's Putra LRT by the same name.
[edit] Etymology
The name means peaceful in Malay. It was recommended for reason of cultural diversity in the selection of names. However, it should not be confused with Jalan Damai, a road which is located off Bedok Reservoir Road in the eastern part of Singapore.
