Damage Incorporated

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Damage Incorporated is a computer game for Mac and Windows made by Paranoid Productions (ported to Windows via MacSoft) in 1997 that uses the Marathon 2 engine. The player commands a squad of four marines in counter-terrorism operations. The game features network deathmatch, but not co-operative multiplayer.

While mostly a first-person shooter, it included elements of squad planning reminiscent of real-time strategy games.

Richard Rouse, one of its creators went on to work on the 2004 game The Suffering as well as the 2005 The Suffering: Ties That Bind.

The title of this game was taken from a song written by Metallica on their 1986 album Master of Puppets.
