Hi there Dalillama. I changed the range of the VLJ because the Embraer site gives it as 1,160 nm. I assumed that you had accidentally used the LJ's range (which is indeed 1,800 nm) for both aircraft. Cheers --Rlandmann 02:49, 29 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] ERJ jets
sounds good, a think a merge of the pages would work out really well. my only concern would be how to concisely display the spec data for each individual aircraft. i was struggling with this last night as i wrote the EMBRAER EMB 121 Xingú page. the Xingu I and II are very similar, though differ in ways similar to the various ERJs. ultimately i wound up putting the specs for the Xingu II as it is the more common of the pair, though i was careful to note that the specs go only to the Xingu II.
perhaps a series of tables (a la the Beechcraft King Air) would be a way to display all of this data?
if you need any help dont hesitate to ask! Zvesoulis 20:55, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] PSDB
Dalillama, as far as I can see through your comments, you believe PSDB is a center-left party. You really should come to Brazil more often. It is simply impossible to say that a man like Geraldo Alckmin is a center-leftist. And the right - PFL and PP, as you say - will win if PSDB wins (in fact it has already started gaining power, with the governments of the state and the city of São Paulo). During the FHC government, there were two ministers linked to ACM. And two ministers of the PP (then called PPB). Don't have false hopes. The PFL will decide who the Alckmin's vice-president will be. Nowadays, Brazil has three neoliberal parties: The PFL, the PSDB and the PTB. 200.139.131.23 15:01, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Language Improvement on the FHC Article
Why on earth have you reverted all my changes? Most of them were intended to make the article more easily readable, and the others were simple logical corrections. I HAVEN'T CHANGED ANY CONTENT, really. Please read my version again. For example, when I first saw this page, the verbs describing FHC's government were all written in the present tense! I WISH he were still the president, instead of the current 'bearded toad', but does using the present tense in this context make any sense now? (As I see it, If you intended to say that these things STILL happen in Brazil, then it surely needed to be better explained.) All I did was to sort out these small inconsistencies, apart from some non-standard phrasing. If you can't stand a mere change of half a dozen words, at least tell me why in a rational way. Besides, as far as I know, nobody owns this article. And, again, even if someone did, my changes were mostly about language and not intended to polemicize anything.E.Cogoy 16:51, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
By the way, I should say I support your reasoning in relation to the guy who started the "PSDB" thread just above this one. PSDB is still left-wing, and there are no real neoliberals in Brazil. E.Cogoy 16:54, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
Alright. Thanks for reconsidering. Now there are a few more suggestions I'd also make (this time regarding some additions), but once I gather enough material I'll make sure to discuss it on the article's talk page before any editing of factual info. You see, politics is always the toughest subject on wikipedia, and sometimes it's really hard to tell malicious trolling from good faith editing. In the Portuguese wiki, all articles regarding FHC and Lula have had to be locked at some moment.)E.Cogoy 17:38, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Flight plans
Hi Dalillama, I am sure that like me you are eager to let our readers see all the available information about this accident. But I am sure you understand that we really have to try our best to refrain from relying on newspapers at this point, as they tend to speculate and contain a lot of factual and technical errors. The proper government agencies, ANAC, CENIPA, NTSB, etc are working hard on this case, and hopefully we'll soon have some hard data in the form of the transcripts: ATC, CVR, FDR. They will be extremely valuable and hopefully solve much of the mystery. Until then, we really need to do our best in weeding out the speculations until we get the more solid data. BTW, I personally think there is high likelihood that the airways and altitudes you mention were in fact in the original flight plans. But those are quickly obsoleted by subsequent clearances, and I have no idea what the clearances were. Thanks for your understanding. Crum375 03:13, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bentley College
Hi. Bentley is no longer using the "business university" language. Here's the current "boilerplate." Thanks.
Bentley is a national leader in business education. Centered on education and research in business and related professions, Bentley blends the breadth and technological strength of a university with the values and student focus of a small college. Our undergraduate curriculum combines business study with a strong foundation in the arts and sciences. A broad array of offerings at the McCallum Graduate School emphasize the impact of technology on business practice, including MBA and Master of Science programs, PhD programs in accountancy and in business, and selected executive programs. Enrolling approximately 4,000 full-time undergraduate, 250 adult part-time undergraduate, and 1,270 graduate students, Bentley is located in Waltham, Mass., minutes west of Boston.
Listen, Bentley College is NOT a business university. It's a college. If you'd like to discuss this further, I'd be happy to give you my e-mail address.
