[edit] Monarch of Jamaica

You are right, these are duplicates. As you might have noitices ever country has a Politics of series. In this series allways a head of state article is included. It helps to find your way quickly. It would be nice if these Monarchs of XX could be enlarged, but or the moment this is what I can offer. So please, because of the consistency of the Politics of series, do not delete these articles, but if possible provide more info. Electionworld = Wilfried (talk 09:30, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

I still prefer separate articles. If there is a majority for deletion or merger, than a redirect to Commonwealth Realm would be an alternative. Electionworld = Wilfried (talk 09:42, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rao

Hi, so you moved "RAO" to "Rao (Disambiguation)". I do not completely understand, when I have to add "(Disambiguation)" to an article. Mainly because America (disambiguation) redirects to America which in my perception is a disambiguation-page. So I thought to leave out "(Disambiguation)" in the articles name would be the right thing. If you could share your thoughts on when to add the term "Disambiguation" to an article an when not, with me I would be grateful. Thanks for assisting me with my first wikipedia tries. • Thanks again (Raoulst 10:26, 26 March 2006 (UTC))

(Copy-and-pasted (oh no!) from user talk:RHaworth.) First of all, thanks for your comments and insight on how to best treat disambiguation issues with Rao. I had read the policies, but I appreciate your helping bring them into context. I must admit, however, that a small part of me is rather annoyed about your referring to me on my talk page as the sinner who destroyed the edit history by doing the copy-and-paste. I tried my best to help User:Raoulst after he had already done the copy-and-paste, and was trying to help him sort out the disambiguation issues in the aftermath. I also helped save the article from speedy deletion. It would mean a lot to me personally if you could clear that point up, please. Thank you. Dalamori 05:39, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

  • I see that I merged the edit histories of Rao and Rao (Surname) to create Rao (surname). I am sure this was the correct thing to do in order to preserve the history of real edits to the article but it has destroyed (or at least made it more difficult to see) the evidence of any copy-and-paste! So I am delighted to withdraw unconditionally any suggestion that Dalamori did a copy-and-paste. My apologies. -- RHaworth 07:40, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
