Dalmatian Liberal Party

Dalmatian Liberal Party (in Croatian: Dalmatinska Liberalna Stranka - DLS) is a regional left-wing liberal party in Croatia formed by the dissident members of the Liberal Party. Foundation date 2005-04-07.

The dissidents, lead by Ante Tešija - then the president of Split city branch of Liberal Party - disagreed with the Liberal Party central in Zagreb in the matter of reunification of Liberal Party with the Croatian Social Liberal Party.

After their unification they formed the new party. Members are largely formal members of Liberal Party from Split and surrounding area.[1]

The president of the DLS is Ante Tešija.[2] On last local elections the party got 1.873 votes or 1,2 % in Split-Dalmatia County.
