Dalian Shide(Simplified Chinese: 大连实德), previously named Dalian Wanda(Simplified Chinese: 大连万达), is a Chinese Super League football club owned by Shide Group. The men's team play at the 55,843 seat Dalian People's Stadium in Dalian, China and their Head Coach is Vladimir Petrović.
The men's team is by far the most successful team in Chinese football, winning 7 of the 10 Jia A seasons and has also claimed the crown in the second Chinese Super League season. Dalian also reached the quarterfinals of the first two ACL editions but have recently been inconsistent due to team and coach changes. Dalian possesses a prolific academy. Famous players include Zhang Enhua, who had a successful three month spell at then-first division English team Grimsby Town and Hao Haidong. Sun Jihai and Dong Fangzhuo are successful players with Manchester City FC and Royal Antwerp, respectively. Dong has now moved to Manchester United's main squad, but it is to be seen when he will play.
