DALI stands for Digital Addressable Lighting Interface and is a protocol set out in the technical standard IEC 60929.

DALI allows for individual control of lighting devices without the need for separate wiring.

In Europe a Technical committee of the major lighting company's worked together to create the DALI framework. For more information about DALI go to DALI working group
