Who is Jacqui Remington that you're concerned this user is impersonating? I've never heard of that name, and a google search turned up 1 hit. Mangojuicetalk 14:22, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed move of Jealousy sociology
What exactly are your objections to the Jealousy sociology article? You nominated it for move without explaining your objections to having a separate article devoted to the sociology and anthropology of jealousy. Kelly 15:13, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- I'm sorry. I'm being dense this morning. On the main Jealousy article, I cut the material from the sociology of jealousy section and pasted it into a new Jealousy sociology article. I have plans after my upcoming vacation to expand the Jealousy sociology article. Are you asking that the sociology material be placed back on the main Jealousy article? If not, then I completely misunderstand the meaning of the template and would genuinely appreciate some education...I'm still somewhat new to Wikipedia. Thanks for taking an interest in the Jealousy articles, by the way. :-) Kelly 15:37, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
-
- Thanks for the welcome. Okay, I think you're wanting to see if people feel there's sufficient material for a whole new article. That's a valid concern. (My apology if I'm misunderstanding.) We can wait to see how the discussion goes. But, just so you know, I'm open to compromise. I'd be willing to integrate the material back into the main article for now and delete Jealousy sociology from the wiki namespace using fast delete. I'd then work on a new Jelaousy sociology article in my user space. Once the new article is done, you (and others who join in the discussion) could have a look and see if would be a more suitable new article. Thanks again. Kelly 16:08, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of similarities between Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy
Why do you assert that the article is OR? Everything said about the list is referenced, and the list itself is not presented to be factual. dryguy 17:23, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hello. It is interesting and I did read it before voting. You are right, it is not factual and that is what I based my decision on WP:OR from many years ago and that it is not encyclopedic content in that it can't be proven WP:NOT.--Dakota 17:59, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
-
- I didn't say the list wasn't factual (although parts are not), I said it is not presented as being factual. The article is about the list. Everything said about the list is referenced; none of it is OR. The movie Star Wars is not factual, but the article about Star Wars does not present the events in the movie as factual, even though it summarizes those events in a synopsis. dryguy 18:05, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Food avoidance eating disorder to AfD instead of Prod
Greetings! I noticed you put the {{prod}} template on Food avoidance eating disorder; back in the edit history, it had been prodded before, so I sent it to AfD instead, on the grounds of a contested deletion. I wanted to let you know in case you wanted to add to the AfD discussion. —C.Fred (talk) 16:32, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Hello DakotaKahn, I am in the middle of editing a page that describes my company, e-Learning Consulting. The page has been deleted and is now protected from recreation. I would like to complete the edits to this page. Please let me know what I need to do to complete my work. [edit] Punctuation
Please fix placing a comma after the word Grand Canyon on your user page. -- ADNghiem501 08:22, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- I meant to say like "Add a comma to after Grand Canyon on your user page, to make sure that the grammar is correct.". Is Grand Canyon a mountain? If so, it wouldn't be like a city. Just to ask you a simple question. -- ADNghiem501 22:37, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Nothing worth worrying about
Performance art I guess. Basically to see if anybody mentioned it to me, then I'd know who to be afraid of. The plan seems to have backfired for a couple of reasons. —freak(talk) 02:51, Aug. 7, 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sorry
Hello DakotaKahn. I'm very very sorry about what happened just then - I tried to rollback (failed) that swastika edit, but you had already done so and when I went to click the block button instinctively after I saw the edit I didn't notice that the form went to your username instead. I am very, very sorry. Blnguyen | rant-line 02:54, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hello and sorry again. As you can see, I've listed myself in the recall admins cat, and now that I earned myself a 1 minute block from Freakofnurture (no, I'm not bitter at all...., just totally embarrassed by my incompetence), I'm open to impeachment proceedings....Sorry again. [edit] Regarding recent deletion of pedarsonist
Hey. I was about to tag "pedarsonist" for speedy deletion when you deleted it. :) The user who created the article created their account today, so they may create more articles. Just letting you know... Fopkins | Talk 07:51, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ciaran Walsh
The article which was previously deleted was a completely different person. This article refers to the artist not an author and it is clearly legit as you can see from the link to his website Offial Website
I am going to recreate this article but is there some marker i can put on it to protect it from deleltion?
thanks --Chesty 14:08, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chad Vader
Please restore the "Chad Vader" page that you deleted, and I will add the information you requested. As I understand it, items administrators feel need to be either expanded, justified, or deleted are supposed to tag said article with a "marked for speedy deletion" tag, and allow the author time to repair the article before it is completely removed. I was not given such a chance, as I only created the article last night. There are many MANY other culturally significant references I can place on the page, and I had planned to this morning-- until I found the article was gone. As I said, please restore the article so that I may continue my work. And for future reference, please use the "Marked for Speedy Deletion" tag and allow the Wikipedians at least 24 hours to justify their work before you destroy it. Thanks. --Schmendrick 16:32, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
