[edit] Adding Guitar
Hi, and welcome!
I looked at your user page and you have the correct syntax, you just need to change babel-3 to babel-4. The number following the dash represents how many languages you have. I hope this helps you! - Trysha (talk) 07:27, 6 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome from Redwolf24
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions, or the ones you have yet to make! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We as a community are glad to have you and thank you for creating a user account! Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Merging, redirecting, and renaming pages
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
Yes some of the links appear a bit boring at first, but they are VERY helpful if you ever take the time to read them.
Remember to place any articles you create into a category so we don't get orphans.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome.

[edit] Your manuscript
Hi. I just noticed on our user page that you sold your first manuscript on the 14th October. Well, you know, that's my birthday! What a coincidencee, huh?--May the Force be with you! Shreshth91($ |-| r 3 $ |-| t |-|) 04:40, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Re:About my user subpage
Hi. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I work with the "Recent Changes Patrol" and I use the New pages tool to check new pages for new nonsense pages, stubs, or articles that aren't wikified.--Jfurr1981 01:56, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

Do admin's answer questions.?
[edit] Question
Can anyone besides an administrator speedy delete a page.Dakota 05:49, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
- Not directly, but you can suggest a page be speedy deleted (make sure it can be deleted under one of the criteria for speedy deletion) by putting a reason why it should be speedily deleted template on it. --fvw* 16:20, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

Hehe, thank you. I like to make the deletion process fun. Paul 05:49, 28 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome to Esperanza!
Welcome, DakotaKahn/Archive01, to Esperanza, the Wikipedia member association! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.
Now that you are a member, you might be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is the StressUnit, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. A spam list is maintained by Redwolf24 to keep members up to date; you might want to consider adding your name to the list. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.
In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Possibles.
I encourage you to take an active voice in the running of Esperanza. We have a small government system, headed by our Administrator general, Essjay, and guided by the Advisory Committee comprised of myself, Flcelloguy. Ryan Norton, and Acetic Acid. The next set of elections will be at the end of the year, and I would be glad to see you vote, or even consider running for a position.
If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact me via email or talk page. Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to be!Bratschetalk | Esperanza 16:42, 30 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Happy Birthday!!
Hope your birthday/Halloween/Tim Starling Day is going well. Cheers, Bratschetalk | Esperanza 21:46, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Your birthday
Firstly, happy birthday! Secondly, you added your day of recognition to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Calendar, but I guess you might like to know how to edit a section or a template. Most pages work in the way you used them to (click the "edit section" link, and it'll put you to where you can add it), but not the ESP calendar. Instead, it runs on a template, meaning one must click "edit" on the template itself in order to edit it. I see someone has already added it, and thus it's really no big deal, but I just thought you might like to know for the future, in case you want to add things like your first edit, another holiday, or *gasp* your admin promotion. Thanks and happy editing, Mysekurity e-mail 01:00, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] re: "Hi" an Congrats
Congradulations on your nom. Looks like it's a sure thing. Thanks for the birthday wish, my (gasp) 27th. I realized that I had edited the template wrong and had it corrected in prewiew when power failed just now have it back. Good luck.-Dakota 03:12, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
- Firstly, thanks for the congrats (rush to the polls everybody, vote or die!), and though I'd like to agree with you, I'm sure I have secret enemies, just lurking around, I'd also not like to jynx it, so I wont, but thanks anyway. As fer yo template query, I'd say that it's right-on by me (can't say I've never been in a power outage, but thanks to my trusty laptop, it's pretty much a thing of the past), and yeah it's really pretty bad when one has to worry about deleting things that one has not been able to deal with as a result of a power outage, and for that, I forgive you. Thanks and happy 27th! -Mysekurity e-mail 04:18, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Why remove info. on Kaufman's UFO incident ?
This place is currently undergoing a really bizarre UFO incident in which these things are being photographed, even videotaped. The latest videotape of one of these things is that a UFO is not only flying around, it is also teleporting as well. I've created a seperate article about this matter. Who knows, the more people comming to Kaufman,TX. to look for UFOs means that this may also help the economic situation there as well. Go to Kaufman UFOs to see the whole article, links to the videotapes of these things. I've indicated the latest incident in which a UFO was videotaped.,which is the one that is teleporting all over the place while in flight.Martial Law 07:48, 4 November 2005 (UTC):)
By the way, I was in the Sonoran Desert. Among other things, I'm a prospector. Did find some quartz crystals in a GPAA site, one old fossil. Other family members found a little gold there.Martial Law 08:46, 4 November 2005 (UTC) :)
Have'nt been able to do any prospecting, due to the State of Emergency in both NM.,and in AZ.
I was in a remote area in when the declaration of a State Of Emergency hit the local news. In this matter, the two governors in both states had done this due to the alleged criminal actvities incl. the drug trade and human trafficking, alleged raids upon US citizens by Mexican nationals, the whole SW. US being turned into a garbage dump. This goes on and on. Someone used a LOT of inflamatory profanity when this person told me what was going on. I am NOT repeating any of it here. Basically, I got out of Dodge, before I get shot and/or robbed.Martial Law 20:51, 7 November 2005 (UTC)
I was NOT trying to be offensive in ANY way. Just stating why I am NOT able to do any prospecting at this time.Martial Law 20:57, 7 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for supporting my RfA
I know I've been slow in saying this, but thanks for supporting my request for adminship. It was an honor to be both nominated and approved as an admin. If there is ever any adminish (is that a word :-) things you need help with, please let me know. --Alabamaboy 16:29, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Possible Benefit regarding UFO matter..............
The possible benefit regarding the UFO matter in Kaufman,TX. is that more people may go there to get pixes of these things, and as they do so, they'll need film, food, water, etc. so this UFO matter may help the town, just like it has done for Gulf Breeze,FL. and Phoenix,AZ., and certainly, Roswell,NM.
[edit] You have open <font></font> tags in your signature, and it's hosing up various pages.

The following is the raw text of your sig. I have highlighted the tags which are open but not closed. All of those open tags need matching closing tags. I would do it for you, but I have a cranky 1-year-old I need to take care of. If you still need help when I get back, I'll give you the hookup.→ Ξxtreme Unction {yak yak yak ł blah blah blah} 22:00, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
