Spéir-Bhean: meaning "woman of the sky". A popular depiction in the Aisling's of the Ulster and North-Leinster poetry of the 18th century. Often used to represent Ireland as a female character under such names as Gráinne Mhaol as per Oró Sé Do Bheatha Bhaile. Also links to Yeats' character of Cathleen Ní Houliháin.
