Note that the Dire Wolf Prime configuration was originally a set of 2 Large Pulse Lasers, 2 Medium Pulse Lasers, and an Ultra AC/5 on each arm, and the LRM 10-rack on the left shoulder, whose computer would usually scream "heat level critical" within thirty seconds of opening fire. This was changed drastically in MechWarrior 4 due to the hardpoint system not being able to fit the configuration onto the 'Mech, and changed further in the Mercenaries expansion due to the general increase of energy weapon heat. Since I'm a jerk, I'll just go ahead and randomly rewrite the article to my whim. Oh, and no primary configuration is ever as useful as it should be. Edit: ...
