Dainese

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dainese (pronounced dah-ee-nee-say) is an Italian company founded in 1972 by its current president Lino Dainese. It specializes in protective wear for sports such as motorcycling, mountain biking and downhill skiing.

It is known well in motorcycling circles, sponsoring prominent riders such as Valentino Rossi and Max Biaggi among many others. Dainese riding gear is generally more expensive than its competitors, such as Alpinestars and Spidi. Along with these marques, it is generally regarded to be a premium quality product, with many of its 'leathers' being handmade.
