Dahlia is the fifth and last album by the Japanese band X Japan and was released on November 4, 1996. It is largely comprised of ballads, with few tracks (i.e. "Scars" and the title track) retaining the band's heavier musicial traits seen on previous releases. Several of the songs achieved an Oricon number one position as singles (namely "Tears", "Longing ~ Togireta Melody", "Rusty Nail", "Dahlia" and "Forever Love"). In the same year, the final concert of the tour in support for the record was released on VHS and later on DVD.
