[edit] Fair use of this image

I've changed the licensing to {{Fairusein|Dagmar Krause}} as no public domain images of Dagmar Krause (that I can find) exist. If someone can point me to such an image, I'd be happy to replace the existing image. --Bruce1ee 06:43, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

It's not enough that none are known to exist; WP:FUC also states that none are likely to be created. As she is still alive and active, it is very possible that a freely-licensed photo can be taken of her. —Chowbok 15:59, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Our fair use policy forbids using a non-free image if a free image could be created that could be used in its place. See criterion #1 and counter-example #8. In this case, it would be possible to create a free image; therefore this non-free image may not be used. Whether a free replacement image exists or not at this time is not relevant. – Quadell (talk) (random) 01:01, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Question: This image is taken from the front cover of her Voiceprint Radio Sessions album. If fair use of album covers is permitted, can not this image be licensed as {{albumcover}}? --Bruce1ee 06:04, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
No, {{albumcover}} is only supposed to be used for an article about the album itself. Granted, that rule is violated in about a million places, but we're trying to be better about that stuff. —Chowbok 15:49, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
