Dafne Bokotta

Dafne Bokotta (Δαφνη Μποκοτα) (born 1960 is a Greek singer and famous television hostess. She started her career as a TV hostess in 1987, in ERT. She presented many shows, but she is most famous for being a commentator in the Eurovision Song Contest. She was the Greek voice of this contest for 18 years.
Bokotta also wrote TV scenarios, worked in many magazines and in May 2006 published her first book, 18 Xronia Eurovision (18 Years of Eurovision).
She is fluent in English, French and Italian, and in 2004 she was elected to the Municipal City Council of Athens.
In the 1980s, Bokotta worked with the famous musician Dionisis Tsaknis on some projects and in 1987 she hit the charts with her first album. She also took part in the Greek finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 1986 with her song Ofilia.
