Daegu Polytechnic College is a vocational training institution serving Daegu metropolitan city, the third-largest city in South Korea. The current president is Lee Chang-u (이창우). About 40 instructors are employed.

The college comprises departments of Computer Aided Machinery, Computer Aided Design, Electrical Instrumentation, Electronics, Materials, Equipment Manufacturing Automation, Mechatronics, Nursing, Opthamology, Hotel and Tourism, and Environmental Chemistry.

The college first opened in 1973 as Daegu Vocational Training Institute (대구직업훈련기관). It became a two-year technical college in 1994. In the course of its history, the college claims to have trained 108,443 students. [1]
