US Army (USA) Sergeant First Class (SFC) Charles Holt (left) and Kurdish PDK Peshmerga"Special Forces" Sergeant (SGT) Karzan Girdy, pose for a photograph outside of Erbil, located in Northern Iraq, during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. SFC Holt carries a 5.56 mm M16A2 rifle and SGT Girdy is armed with a 9 mm MP5A3 sub-machine gun. [1]
