[edit] Welcome!

Hello, D prime, Welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope you like working here and want to continue. If you need help on how to name new articles, look at the Guide to layout, and for help on formatting the pages visit the Manual of Style. If you need general help, look at Help and the FAQ, and if you can't find your answer there, check the Village pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and the Policy Library. Also, don't forget to visit the Community Portal — and if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my New-Users' Talk Page.
Additional tips:
Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
  • Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
  • You might want to add yourself to the New User Log
  • If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language
  • Full details on Wikipedia style can be found in the Manual of Style.
Happy editing!

[edit] Titnita

Please do not create hoax articles; I have just deleted Titnita. If you continue putting nonsense on Wikipedia, you can get you banned. Thanks.--Pharos 03:16, 3 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Capitalismdayhouse.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Capitalismdayhouse.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. --OrphanBot 08:41, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Things in Atlas Shrugged

Hi there,

The article Things in Atlas Shrugged, is currently up for deletion. There are also several others in the Category:Atlas Shrugged which are being scutinized. Quite a few editors feel that some deserve a rewrite, but are not knowledgable on the topic. Would you care to join the discussion, or perhaps help on a rewrite?

[edit] Personal Attacks

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --james(lets talk) 06:38, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ubersite

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Ubersite. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. JHMM13 (T | C) 22:48, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

I did not. Re-adding a section concering something relevant to me, written by someone else, that was taken off by someone with a personal vendetta against me, is not what you described. D prime 01:00, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

I do not have a personal vendetta against you, no matter how much you would like to contest that I do. The simple truth of the matter is that dedicating a large part of the Wikipedia article on Ubersite to a contest that gets nearly no attention and is not supported by Ubersite in any fashoin does not make any sense. And don't take me finding your talk page as an "example" of me stalking you or anything, your talk page is on the front page of a google search for "Wikipedia Ubersite".

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Ubersite. The notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an article, and removing them is considered vandalism. If you oppose the deletion of this article, you may comment on the article's AFD entry instead. Thank you. JHMM13 (T | C) 15:23, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

Regarding this posting, please do not continue to vandalize Wikipedia. If you do so, I will report you to WP:AIV. JHMM13 (T | C) 09:18, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wii

Please stop making changes in the Wii article that are still being discussed in the discussion page. Doing so shows an absolute lack of respect for the other people contributing to the article. Bladestorm 07:16, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
