D31120 is a blue diesel featured in The Railway Series written by Christopher Awdry. He works on the main line, and helped out with BoCo the Diesel Engine one day when Gordon the Big Engine was ill.
D31120 doesn't have an actual name, and is based on a Cl31 Brush Type 3 A1A-A1A Diesel.

[edit] Problems and Proposed Action

Does an engine known as D31120 appear in the TV Series?

In the books, I can only find 31 120, as described. This suggests that the article for D31120 has been created erroneously, and should be deleted once the character rationalisation has been completed.

I'm not convinced that a re-direct will be required (unless D31120 actually does exist!)

[edit] Character Rationalisation

I do not think that 31 120 warrants an entry under Minor Characters. However, it would be appropriate to include an entry under the locomotive appearances section of The Other Railway.
