[edit] Summary

Aelita's visions become a problem once again, but not the same visions as before. This time, she has visions of her and Franz Hopper being chased by government agents. The visions come even when she's awake, causing her to lose consciousness while at the pool during gym class. Wanting to know the source of the visions, she heads to the Hermitage to learn more about them. Jeremie discovers that Xana is causing the visions through her link to the supercomputer. During the mission to stop them, Aelita breaks away and heads to Carthage, determined to discover the source of the visions. In a backstory, Odd falls in love with a mysterious girl that he meets (and dates) online. It turns out to be Sissi.

[edit] Recap

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

The episode starts out The Hermiatge. However, every window is lighted and the house appears to be occupied. Aelita walks in and starts walking through the halls. The door opens suddenly opens and three Secret Police agents wearing identical black suits and white earpieces barge in. They try to grab her and she wakes up screaming.

She heads off to the bathroom. While washing her face, Sissi shows up and asks if Aelita was the one who screamed. Aelita starts to deny it, but breaks down in tears instead. Jim shows up to find out what's happening. Sissi covers for Aelita, saying that she's not feeling well. Jim escorts Aelita back to her room. Jeremie, along with every other student along the way, wonders what's wrong with her. Jim tells them all to go back to bed and that he'll keep Aelita safe for tonight, and it's nighty-night. (Presumably, during this Jim puts Aelita to sleep, but it is unclear.)

The next day, Aelita talks to them about her dreams. Odd mentions that he had a bad dream once: he was on a date with Sissi. While on the subject, Ulrich asks about his current fling. He's been chatting online with someone from the school. He's not sure who. They remember that they have an off-campus swimming class for P.E. Jeremie has managed to get out of it the last few times, but can't do so now.

At the community pool, Jim is going over how the body is ninety percent water, along with a whole host of other facts he can't get straight. All the while, Odd and Ulrich are talking about who Odd's mystery girlfriend might be. Jim catches them talking and picks them to swim first. Meanwhile, Aelita gets a small headache. She says that it's nothing when Jeremie asks about it. That soon changes when it gets much worse. She stumbles forward and falls into the pool. The dream she had earlier recurs, this time going on longer than the first. The Secret Police now chase her to the back door of The Hermitage. Jeremie is forced to dive into the pool and save her.

In Aelita's room, Aelita recounts the vision much more clearly than before. The group tells her to get some rest. Odd is using Jeremie's laptop to talk to his mystery date. Jeremie lets him borrow it so he can continue talking to her. They head off to science class and leave Aelita in her room. Once they've gone, she gets up.

In science class, Odd is walking to his seat. He bumbs into Sissi along the way. Once he's sat down, he learns that his mystery date is in the class. Jeremie interrupts his conversation to check something on the laptop. The scanner program shows an activated Tower. They try to get out of class, but Mrs. Hertz won't let them leave; not to budge an inch from their seats. She even threatens, quite angrily and harshly, to take the laptop away from them!

In the city's woodland reserve, Aelita is heading for The Hermitage. Along the way, she gets flashes of her earlier dreams as well of flashes of what the house looked like originally before it was badly damaged.

Back at the school, Mrs. Hertz is teaching the class about metals, preferably her favorite: titanium. Sissi is asked a question and responds with a foolish-sounding answer. Mrs. Hertz gives her a nasty glare and the bell rings. Once class is over, Odd and Ulrich head to the Factory. Jeremie heads off to get Aelita.

At the Hermitage, Aelita has more memories of what the house once was. Her vision about the bearded man from the first episode of the season is expanded upon, with a much better look at him. He is playing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the piano. She also has visions about the Secret Police. Upstairs, she sees the room she found Mister Pück in as it was back them. It was painted pink and a child's drawing can be seen on one wall.

Jeremie arrives at the room to find her missing. He's able to reach her on her cell phone. He tells her about the attack and says he'll come get her. Aelita insists that she can get to the Factory on her own. Jeremie agrees and hangs up. Once he hangs up, Aelita has visions of the Secret Police outside the house. The bearded man appears at the door and asks her to follow him. The chase scene from the earlier dreams is repeated once again. Outside of the house, the bearded man has her follow him to a sewer access door.

At the Factory, the group is waiting for Aelita. She arrives shortly and tells them about all the things she saw. She is almost certain that the bearded man is none other than Franz Hopper. Jeremie is convinced that XANA is using the virus inside her to mess with her memories. They all head to Lyoko to deactivate the Tower.

On Lyoko, the four head for the Tower. Aelita hesitates slightly upon arrival, but shakes it off. The Tower is guarded by a pair of Bloks and a Tarantula. Odd deals with the Bloks while Ulrich and Yumi take the Tarantula. Using the Tower as cover, Odd takes out one Blok fairly quickly. Ulrich uses his Super Sprint ability to confuse the Tarantula so Yumi can destroy it. Meanwhile, Aelita walks to the edge of the region where the Transport Orb usually arrives. She says that she needs to find out about her memories. The Orb arrives and scoops her up despite Jeremie's protests. Yumi manages to destroy the last Blok and the three head after her.

In Carthage, Aelita has been caught by the Scyphozoa. The others are forced to cross a room full of moving platforms to reach her. With the topographical-alteration timer running out and their progress limited, Odd uses a long range shot to free Aelita from the Scyphozoa's tentacles. He's rewarded by getting crushed between two of the moving platforms. He doesn't seem phased by it when exiting the Scanner. Ulrich arrives by Aelita in time to deter any repeat attempts at memory-theft by the Scyphozoa. They all head to the Celestial Dome.

At the Carthage Interface, Jeremie tells them to leave without collecting data. Aelita ignores him and starts looking through the Interface. He can't convince Aelita to stop. He tries to get Ulrich and Yumi to drag her away, but the hatching Mantas negate that plan. Yumi is the first to score a kill, using her Tessen Fan to destroy out a Manta. The leftover ones drop flying crap flak bombs. They only drop a few, but these mines are capable of tracking a target. Ulrich and Yumi use a little fancy flying on their Overbike and Overwing, respectively, to cause the one of the mines to crash into its Manta of origin, taking it out of play in a shower of Manta debris. The Scyphozoa has returned and caught Aelita again and is stealing her memories once more. Yumi tries to stop it, but the leftover Manta takes out her Vehicle. Ulrich catches her before she falls into the Data Stream. Ulrich flies past the Scyphozoa using the mines tracking him as weapons against it. Even with such a strong hit, the Scyphozoa survives. It runs away to protect itself. Yumi stays behind as Ulrich takes Aelita to the Tower. She deactivates it without incident.

At the Cafeteria, Aelita talks about how she felt like she was reliving the memories XANA showed her. Jeremie believes that to be impossible considering how they found her. The group figures the memories were either fake or belonged to someone else. Odd mentions that he's going to finally meet his mystery date by the Refectories. When he arrives, it turns out to be Sissi. Ulrich shows up to see her, as well, and is equally surprised. Sissi notices them, but oesn't suspect that Odd was the one she had been talking with all this time. When she questions their look, which she describes as "never having seen her before", Odd replies by saying "never in this light."

Spoilers end here.

[edit] Memorable Quotes

Sissi: Hey! Can't you look where you're going, you clumsy dork!
Odd: Oh! Sorry Sissi. I mistook you for a doorpost!
Odd: One night, I dreamt I was on a date with Sissi. Can you think of a worse dream?
Sissi: What's the matter with you? You act as if you never saw me before.
Odd: Never like that.
Jeremie: Odd, are you okay?
Odd: Grrr.... Sector five is even worse than Mrs. Hertz’s class!
Jeremie: Odd, mind telling me what you are doing?
Odd: Saving the day.
Jim: Which reminds me of when I was a salvage diver.
Nicolas: You used to be a salvage diver, Jim?
Jim: I'd rather not talk about it.
Jeremie: Look out,. there are monsters up ahead! Can you see them?
Odd: We'd have to be as near-sighted as you not to see them!
