Please do not submit advertisements or press releases to Wikipedia. Thank you. DS 16:38, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

The mention of Asix was not an advertising, nor a press release, it is history about new media development in Peru, could you please undelete it. I will remove the links as I understand to the sites.--Czevallos 16:33, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
Okay, I'll accept that you mean well. However, I must point out that the article very much feels like an advertisement - you'll note that another editor has listed it for deletion for that reason as well.
One important question is whether Asix is, in fact, a new company, or if it has already reached a level of success/newsworthiness. If it is new, if it is just starting out, then Wikipedia is not the place for it. WP is not a promotional vehicle, you see.
A related question is whether you're personally involved with Asix - if you are, then it's strongly recommended that you not be the one to start the article; after all, how can you truly be objective about whether it's notable?
My apologies for not responding earlier. DS 14:18, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks very much for your answer. I tried to be objective because I am personally involved with Asix, I am the founder and also an educator and understand your policies, but it happens that Asix has 13 years on the market today, which in Peru is very successful (we managed successfully the internet and e-branding strategies for the TOP companies and our government in our country and work with customers in USA for the last years), and as I see at WP most of the newmedia agencies of the first world are mentioned why will Asix be discriminated. If you see the book published by Ziff Davis in 1995 (Careers in Multimedia) were I was quoted about Asix because they need to know what development was happening in the newmedia market in Peru, also I meet Jimmy Wales the President of WP at TedGlobal last year in Oxford, where I was the first peruvian in history to be part of TED because of Asix. I want you to consider the deletion, and also if possible help me to improve the article to meet your requirements. Thanks again for your help. --Czevallos 15:04, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Asix listed for deletion

An article that you have been involved in editing, Asix, has been listed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Asix. Please look there to see why this is, if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.
