The Czech passport (Czech: cestovní pas, or just pas) is issued to Czech citizens at any age, it is the primary document of international travel issued by the Czech Republic. It should be noted that the občanský průkaz can now be used to travel within the European Union. Children can be included in the passport.

The passport is issued by the Ministry of Interior (Ministerstvo Vnitra), and like most passports remains property of the Czech Republic and can be withdrawn at any time. It is a valid proof of citizenship document according to the Czech nationality law. Citizens can have multiple passports at the same time.
