Cyril Havermans

Cyril Havermans is a Dutch musician, best known for being in the progressive rock band, Focus.

Cyril was initially an associate of Jan Akkerman and Pierre van der Linden and played with them in the band Brainbox as bass player from 1970-1971. After Brainbox dispersed in early 1971, Jan Akkerman formed Focus with Thijs Van Leer. After a short period Cyril was invited to join Focus along with Pierre van der linden. Cyril remained in Focus during one of their most productive periods of time musically, producing Moving Waves, peaking at #9 in the Dutch Top 40. Shortly before Focus went on tour to support the album however, Cyril left the band to pursue solo activities, releasing two solo albums, in 1973 and 1974.
