[edit] Yochlol
I was doing my routine Wikipedia work, checking on all of the articles that newly appeared on my Watchlist, and I came upon Yochlol. I was quite surprised when I found out that it was no longer a stub! I must say, nice work! Great picture, too. ‡ Jarlaxle June 29, 2005 21:37 (UTC)
[edit] Chinese
You translate Forgotten Realms into Chinese? Wow, that's really cool. There's a Chinese Wikipedia at zh:Wikipedia. Perhaps you could translate some of the English FR articles into Chinese and post them there? You know, spreading the FR knowledge. ‡ Jarlaxle July 2, 2005 21:38 (UTC)
Well, i been doing exactly that in our BBS. Currently though I would like to contribute more to English based FR matrials first, since from what i see here, many are in the lack. I saw that Mr. Jarlaxle is an active participant too. Nice to meet you, and nice cooperating, too. --Cynehelm 3 July 2005 12:47 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging Image:FCUcampus2.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:FCUcampus2.gif. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, ie in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}.) See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. --cohesion | talk 03:31, 9 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Invitation to the Forgotten Realms project
Hi,
We are working on a Forgotten Realms Project to map Toril (mostly Faerûn, at the present). Since you contributed quite a lot on a Forgotten Realms-specific entry, I'd like to invite you to join the project, so we could improve the “Mapping the Realms” project.
The goal is to create a sort of World Factbook for the Realms. This means:
- A consistent content
- Use of templates
- Entries should be limited to “sovereign places”: states and free cities, as well a moderately-inhabited place such as the Western Highlands.
On top of this, we also plan to cover Lost Empires, such as Pelvuria or Imaskar and, of course, Netheril
- The project is located here
- The Geographical index of Toril is a good start to get a visual of had been done, as well as the Halruaa entry.
Main contributors are presently
If you know some other person who would be interested, feel free to forward the invitation!
Feel free to take a look. We hope to see you soon mapping the Realms with us! Reply to David Latapie 12:51, 8 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Waterdeepmapfrcs.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Waterdeepmapfrcs.JPG. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Muchness 16:58, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Takhisisandmina.JPG
You stated that the picture came from the Amber and Ash book cover, however, I've never even heard of Amber and Ash, although I have heard of Amber and Ashes (unless you directly translated the title from chinese into english). In addition, by googling for Amber and Ashes or Amber and Iron, that image still does not appear. What is the source of it (internet website, scanner, etc) , and where does it come from?Ddcc 20:16, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:BG1.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:BG1.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 16:21, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:MiramarPara.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:MiramarPara.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:09, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:FCUcampus2.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:FCUcampus2.gif. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 18:27, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

I just posted some comments on your recent reversion of my edit on the Artemis Entreri page. I would very much like to prevent an edit war with you. Your input to the discussion would be invaluable. Thanks. Turlo Lomon 08:18, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
