Cynthia Sumner is a fictional character on the TV show NCIS played by Stephanie Mello. She is Jenny Shepherd's assistant and receptionist. Her appointment occurred in the wake of the assassination of NCIS agent Caitlin Todd by a rogue Mossad agent.
She is often seen telling Jethro Gibbs to wait to see Jenny but he barges right in and then she has to appologise for him.
