Cynesige

Cynesige was Archbishop of York for nine years between 1051 - 1060. During his time as Archbishop he concescrated both John and Michael as Bishop of Glasgow sometime after 1055, and dedicated the church of the Abbey of Waltham Holy Cross in the presence of King Edward around 3 May 1060.
