Cymmer is a district of Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taff.

There are three different schools in Cymmer: Cymmer Infants School, Cymmer Junior School and Ysgol Gyfun Y Cymmer.

Cymmer offers a lot for the younger majority; there are youth clubs for both Welsh-speaking and English-speaking teenagers.
