Cymbal Corporation was started in 1998 with a simple vision - to be the "partner of choice" for discriminating clients of IT services who require high-end Systems Integration, Application Lifecycle Management, Custom Application Development, Package Deployment, and Product Development services, at sustainable prices over the long haul. It has successfully assisted major firms with their CRM, ERP, QA, Business Integration, Internet Development, Applications Management, and Product Development programs. Cymbal's History

Cymbal had experienced a phenomenal growth trajectory since its inception in 1998. In the year 2003 Cymbal was on target to surpass the performance of all previous years combined. Meanwhile it's outlook was towards continued expansion and growth in all the markets they served.

2004

• Patni Computer Systems acquired Cymbal Corporation with effect from Nov 3, 2004 for a sum of US$68 mn.

2003

• Signed multi-year outsourcing contracts for delivery from India
• Cymbal's Global Technology Centers assessed for SEI-CMM 5 competence
• Signed significant project consulting contracts with customers in key communications and media segments
• Formalized a Strategy Service covering IT portfolio management, investment rationalization, and formulation of metrics and measurements for IT organizations

2002

• Established ERP practice
• Delivered multiple projects around new deployments as well as upgrades for customers in North America
• London office set up and signed major contracts in the UK and continental Europe
• Awarded the largest EAI engagement in Europe
• Signed multi-year, multi-million-dollar support and development contracts, across all practice areas, in North America and Europe
