Cyber Dog is the hacker alias chosen by Matt LaPlante. Matt is a college student studying Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in New York State, USA. An avid computer enthusiast, Matt holds several certifications including the CCNP, CCDP, A+, and Linux+ certifications.

At age 21 Matt has already successfully held several jobs in computer system administration, and has made a name for himself by publishing the successful shareware program Hyper Hasher.
