CVL

The Central Venue League (CVL) was created in conjunction with the Tyne & Wear Basketball Development and Newcastle Eagles offering the only league of regional junior Basketball with competition in three divisions. The league lasts for 10 weeks, and established as a developmental junior league, providing organised competition in fun and friendly environment for teams who do not have the opportunity.

Division 1 U20's: For more experienced teams (Only 3 National League players on court at one time).

Division 2 U16's: For teams who are made up predominantly of younger players who have less basketball experience (Two Under 16 National League licensed players are allowed on court)

Division 3 U14's: Teams who are young with limited competitive basketball experience.

Division 4 U12's: For teams with no competitive Basketball experience

Girl's Only: For girls with no competitive Basketball experience, open to all ages
