[edit] CuteNews.RU

There is this version of cutenews in http://english.cutenews.ru/ that uses MYSQL, does anyone have any info on who made it, differences, or how to update to it?

I have done help pages for Cutenews before and would be interested in helping with this one...

The Cutenews people might remember me as "ellipisces". I once sent money so that the website would stay alive...

[edit] Not really NPOV

I removed the following because (a) it seems to be explaining pretty much what ANY Content management system does, and (b) the wording seems a bit opinionated. Not that it's bad! It just didn't seem 'right' compared to the other CMS entries I read.

This program also makes it much easier and more pleasant for webmasters and other contributors to add or edit news posts on the website it is installed on. Instead of needing to hard code HTML with the news and upload files every time they need to post, webmasters can simply log on to their Cutenews installation and use the user-friendly GUI to add or edit their news posts.

And I respect that. --Mark 14:33, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rewrite

I re-wrote/updated some of the article in hopes of reducing POV and improving the overall quality. However, I suck at writing, so improvements would be appreciated. --AnonymousOrc 20:35, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
