Cuti bersama
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cuti bersama, or the “joint holiday”, is a recently-introduced public holiday in Indonesia, and officially are working days between nearby holidays or the following weekend. Cuti bersama was officially decided by the Indonesian Government as a means of stimulating tourism within the country and increasing the efficiency of public servants. The holiday is counted in public servants' overall leave. Most private companies and businesses follow suit by adjusting employees' annual leave in line with government policy. During major religious holidays such as Eid-al-Fitr (Idul Fitri/Lebaran at the end of the Ramadhan fasting month) the joint-holiday can span an entire working week.
