Cute Without The 'E' is the first single off Taking Back Sunday's first album Tell All Your Friends. It's about a boy who finds out his girlfriend is cheating on him and is confronting her about it. He tells her that he already knows and tells her that he'll kill himself for her. He says he knows he should hate her but he doesn't. The video is based on Fight Club due to Adam Lazzara's "almost homosexual obsession" with Brad Pitt. This song is classified by certain stereotypes as one of many "emo" anthems.
