Cussewago Creek

Cussewago Creek is a stream in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. It is a major tributary of French Creek, which it joins at Meadville. Cussewago Creek supports a diverse fauna, including mammals, amphibians, fishes, and mollusks[1] . The name of the creek is alleged to come from the aboriginal inhabitants, and is said to mean, "big belly"[2].
