Talk:Current events in the United States

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This name is misleading - I was thinking it was going to provide me with news about the Americas as a whole. I am going to move it to a more specific and appropriate title. --Oldak Quill 19:19, 23 Jan 2005 (UTC)

[edit] This page deals with current events in the United States, its insular areas, and other American interests.

Lol, how typical of the US to have a seperate page that only deals with 'its interests'. I think it should be incorporated into the international Current Events page, so the seemingly protected minds of the US can see whats happening in the rest of the world. Swarve 10:46, 14 November 2005 (UTC)

  • The United States isn't the only section with its own. Britain, Australia, Africa and other regions do to. Personally I think they should all be merged, becuase the sub-pages are rarely updated/
  • I belive we should keep the separate pages.

[edit] Move talk page

This talk page should be moved to Talk:Current events in the United States, since the discussion here is about that, not about April 2005, and that page redirects here, which is wrong. Kusma (talk) 03:44, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
