Curt McKenzie (born February 9, 1969)is the State Senator representing Idaho's 12th legislative district. Serving his third term, he is chairman of the Senate State Affairs Committee and serves on the Local Government and Taxation Committee. Curt McKenzie currently lives in Nampa, Idaho, with his wife Renee and two children. Curt McKenzie practices law throughout the Treasure Valley with the firm McKenzie Law Offices, PLLC. Other notable achievements include: Admitted: 1995, Maryland; 1996, District of Columbia; 1997, Idaho and U.S. District Court, District of Maryland, U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit Law School: Georgetown University Law Center, J.D., magna cum laude, 1995 College: Northwest Nazarene College, B.S., magna cum laude, 1992 Member: Idaho State Bar (Senator, 2002—; Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee, Local Government and Taxation Committee).
