Curtis Jensen is co-Chief Investment Officer/Portfolio Manager of Third Avenue Management, LLC, the investment advisor for Third Avenue Funds. He is responsible for Third Avenue Management investment research and manages the Third Avenue Small-Cap Value Fund. He joined the firm in 1995.

Previously, Jensen held several positions with Manufacturer's Hanover Trust Company and Enright & Co., a private investment banking firm.

He earned a BA in economics from Williams College and an MBA from Yale School of Management where he was a student of Martin J. Whitman. Jensen received the Richard L. Rosenthal Award for Innovation in Investment Management.
