Curracloe

Curracloe is a town in County Wexford, a few miles north of Wexford town, Ireland. It is very close to the long and sandy Curracloe Strand. Curracloe sees a huge influx of holiday makers every summer, who stay in mobile homes and caravan parks, such as coolrainey (Andy Murphy's site) and Tuskar holiday park(Orberry Smith's Site)
The beach was used for the filming of the D-Day sequence in Saving Private Ryan, due to its proximity to Ardmore Studios and the tax break for film production in Ireland.
