"Cure" is a song by Metallica in their 1996 album Load. It is about a person who wishes for a cure from a difficult situation.
The song starts on a catchy hard rock play. It has never been played live although excerpts of it were jammed on before encores during the "Poor Touring Me"/Load tour.
The song's demo was named "Believe", because of the repetition of the verse "I Do Believe" in the lyrics.
