Curchorem

Curchorem is a city in the South Goa District in India, and is part of the Quepem Taluka, in the State of Goa. It is run by a Municipal Council. The city is self sufficient and has a number of hospitals (including a Government Primary Health Centre), schools, a police station, banks, ATMs, a railway atation, good road links, a market, a place of worship, restaurants, a play ground, an electricity station and a theatre.

The city is divided to many vaddos and there is an elected member from each vaddo in the municipality. The population is 25000 people.
