[edit] Licencing
I have reverted this change to the licence shown for this image. The logo is included in the GPL'ed sources for CUPS, and is covered by the GPL, so there is no need to assert fair use as we have a Free licence to use the image. The fact that the image is copyrighted by Easy Software Products does not affect this, it is them who have placed it under the GPL - if it were not copyrighted it would be public domain and therefore no licence would be needed at all. That ESP have also trademarked the image is not relevent to what copyright licence the image is availabe to be used under. -- AJR | Talk 23:36, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- According to the CUPS webpage the logo is not free.
All other content is copyright 1993-2006 by Easy Software Products. CUPS, the Common UNIX Printing System, the CUPS logo, and ESP Print Pro are the trademark property of Easy Software Products.
Since it's a trademark it's not free as in free. // Liftarn

- It is free. It's a free license. That's as free as you get without public domain. Nardman1 00:11, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- For goodness sake. It's a logo, for one, and has been GPL'ed. - Ta bu shi da yu 02:51, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
