Cumwhinton

Cumwhinton is a small village close to Carlisle England, around one mile away from both Scotby and Wetheral. The villahge lies in Wetheral civil parish
It is a small village by local standards. Much smaller than, for instance, Wetheral. Despite its small size, it is home to a school, a pub, a village hall and a tiny village shop.
The village shop, although small, offers a wide range of items, from birthday cards to tomato ketchup.
Close to Cumwhinton is the village of Cotehill also in Wetheral parish.
Cumwhinton is often confused with the village of Cumwhitton a few miles to the east.
